The hotel is located right above the freeway, a bit pricey for not being in walking distance from downtown La Jolla. The rooms were inviting and comfortable.

I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud in my room with warm wood-colored trim and a nice view of greenery that made me feel like I was on vacation on an island. The room felt a bit warm and stuffy when the A/C was off, but overall, it was a cozy and pleasant stay.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were peaceful but the wall air conditioner was quite noisy and the maid came in late one day when my daughter was sleeping. The service was friendly and helpful overall, but the check-in and check-out experiences weren't the best. The location was excellent for our needs, with convenient access to shops and restaurants, but it was quite a distance from the cove in La Jolla. The dining options were basic and a bit pricey, but the hotel facilities were sufficient for a comfortable stay.
